It was just an excellent fit for a city break in Slidell with very good value for money. The bed was overly firm, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. Bring bug spray. the mosquitos were ridiculously thick around the hotel.

I really appreciated how close the hotel was to Griffith Park, just under 3.5 km away, which made for some delightful strolls in nature, and the Slidell Historic Antique District was only about 3.5 km too, perfect for exploring unique shops and landmarks during my weekend getaway.

This place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and laundry services. Staff were helpful during my first stay when they printed documents for me. I highly recommend it. I’m coming back for Easter!

Our four-night visit was enjoyable despite a few hiccups. The friendly reception staff made us feel welcome upon arrival. While the room was clean, the beds could use an upgrade for comfort. The nearby Waffle House served delicious breakfasts, a much better option compared to the hotel. Consider staying here if you don’t mind walking next door for meals!

I found the Super 8 in Slidell clean and conveniently located near the freeway. The staff greeted me warmly at check-in, making the process straightforward. The room had a comfortable bed which helped me get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was underwhelming, mostly cold cereal and pastries, so I opted to go to Waffle House next door instead. The laminate wood floors felt hard. those beds definitely needed upgrading. One issue was that I noticed some dirty spots on the lampshades in my room, and some amenities like the ice machine weren’t functioning. The hallway had a faint musty smell that wasn’t welcoming either. Overall, it had its ups and downs, but I appreciated the friendly atmosphere.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was clean and decent-sized. It came with a microwave and mini fridge, which was super handy. The air con was off when I first got in, so it felt a bit musty, but it cooled down quickly. The staff were really friendly too. The breakfast isn’t great, but there's a Waffle House right next door. Good enough for resting after a long day!
